Chimichurri
Sauce



 

Preparation Time:  approximately 5-10 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup (packed)            fresh Italian parsley

1/2 cup                        olive oil

1/3 cup                        red wine vinegar or lime juice

1/2 cup (packed)         fresh cilantro

4                                  garlic cloves, peeled

1/2 tsp                         crushed red pepper

1/2 tsp                         ground cumin

1/2 tsp                         salt

 

Directions

Place all ingredients in food processor. Pulse to blend into a fine paste.

Turn-out & Storage

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Perfect when paired with grilled meats or protein. Also great with eggs, beans, or as a marinade!

 

This recipe can be stored for up to 10 days under refrigeration. Do not freeze, the herbs in this recipe will turn brown due to the acid content and cold temperature.
